I was unable to define a good 3D geometry due to the restrictions in the student version of the software (1800 nodes max), so I had to use a quite simple 2D geometry (800 nodes max).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contour conditions are on the air flux through the fans and grilles, the results are shown in the following pictures. On the right is the front side of the case, on the left the rear side. On the right, from the top, are visible the cd burner, the floppy drive, the hard disk. On the left, on the top, the power supply. Non era possibile definire una geometria accurata in 3D per via delle restrizioni sul numero di nodi (1800), per cui dovetti adattare la geometria ad un numero di nodi inferiore (800) ed in 2D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le condizioni al contorno impostate erano di flusso di aria imposto, dal momento che in quasi tutte le aperture vi erano ventole. I risultati, per quel poco che possono servire, sono mostrati nelle figure seguenti. Sulla destra vi \u00e8 la parte frontale del computer, sulla sinistra il retro. Nella parte frontale i vuoti corrispondono a masterizzatore, lettore floppy, disco fisso.
